Meet Voltaire. Ask the project.

VoltDrop's electrical intelligence assistant. Voltaire reads the set the way an experienced estimator does — across disciplines, against the specification, and with an eye for what doesn't line up.

Electrical Intelligence AssistantIn Development

Electrical projects rarely suffer from a lack of information.

They suffer because that information is scattered across drawings, specifications, schedules, details, revisions, notes, and multiple disciplines.

Voltaire was created to interrogate that information.

  • Ask about a feeder.
  • Ask what's missing from the scope.
  • Ask where a requirement came from.
  • Ask which drawing changed.
  • Ask why a run was flagged.

Voltaire shouldn’t just give you an answer.

It should show you where that answer came from.

Why Voltaire?

The name begins with the obvious connection to Volt, but the reference goes further.

Voltaire was known for questioning assumptions, argument, inquiry, and reason.

VoltDrop’s Voltaire applies that same mentality to construction documents: compare the information, identify contradictions, challenge assumptions, and surface the items worth another look.

Thankfully, ours knows significantly more about conduit.

Voltaire surfaces the source behind every answer. It does not replace professional judgment.

Every answer traceable.

Every calculation reviewable.

What you can ask

Voltaire is built for the questions an estimator or preconstruction manager actually asks a set of drawings — not for open-ended conversation.

“What should I know before bidding this project?”
A summary of the items that need a decision: scope conflicts, missing circuiting, revisions that other documents have not caught up to — each with its sources.
“What changed in Addendum 03?”
A comparison against what was originally issued, so the delta is explicit rather than something you reconstruct from two PDFs side by side.
“Why was this run flagged?”
The specific disagreement between documents that prevented the run from being confirmed, with both sides shown.
“Where does this requirement come from?”
The specification section, general note, or detail that establishes it — because "the spec says so" is only useful with a section number.
“Which devices have no homerun?”
The devices that are drawn and countable but not yet tied to a circuit, listed with the sheet they appear on.
“What is feeding this panel?”
The upstream path back to the service, assembled from the one-line and reconciled against the panel schedules.

What Voltaire will not do

  • Invent an engineering calculation. Critical electrical math runs through deterministic engines with published methods, not through a language model.
  • Pick a winner when two documents conflict. Both sides are shown with their references; the contractor decides which governs.
  • Assert something it cannot source. Where a source cannot be identified, the item is flagged as an open question instead.
  • Replace professional judgment. Voltaire helps your team make decisions; the responsible professional still makes them.
