Agreement to terms
"VoltDrop Pro," "we," "our," and "us" refer to VoltDrop Pro, Inc. "You" refers to the individual or entity accessing the site or the software.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the full agreement between you and VoltDrop Pro regarding the use of the site and the early-access program. If you do not agree to any portion of these Terms, do not use the site or the software.
Informational purposes only
Electrical work involves significant safety and code compliance considerations. All calculations, conductor sizing, equipment selections, and installation decisions must be independently verified by a licensed electrical contractor, electrical engineer, or other qualified professional authorized in the applicable jurisdiction before use in any actual design, bid, or installation.
NEC & local code compliance
References to the National Electrical Code® (NEC), IEEE standards, NEMA documents, or other standards bodies are provided as engineering context only. VoltDrop Pro does not certify NEC compliance.
- You are responsible for confirming that every output is compliant with the most current edition of the NEC and any state, municipal, or jurisdictional amendments that apply to your project.
- Tables, ampacities, and constants used internally are based on widely cited reference editions and may differ from the edition adopted in your jurisdiction.
- VoltDrop Pro makes no representation that an output will be accepted by any authority having jurisdiction (AHJ), plan reviewer, or inspector.
No engineering stamp implied
Reports, PDFs, or Excel exports generated through VoltDrop Pro are not engineering drawings or stamped calculations. No professional engineer's seal, license number, or certification is implied or embedded in the output unless you, a licensed engineer, choose to apply one independently after reviewing the work.
A licensed engineer or contractor who relies on a VoltDrop Pro output remains solely responsible for the accuracy of the work they sign and the appropriateness of its use.
User responsibility & verification
You agree that you will:
- Verify every output against authoritative references and applicable code prior to using it in design, bid, submittal, installation, or inspection.
- Use the software only for lawful purposes consistent with your professional qualifications.
- Not represent any VoltDrop Pro output as a substitute for the review or sign-off of a licensed electrical professional.
- Not rely solely on the on-page demo for safety-critical or life-safety decisions.
Software accuracy limitations
Although the calculation engine uses standard electrical formulas and widely cited reference tables, no software is free of error. Outputs may be affected by, among other things:
- Differences between the reference edition used internally and the edition adopted by your AHJ.
- Local amendments, exceptions, derating factors, or installation conditions not modeled in the demo.
- User input errors, including transposed values, incorrect units, or selection of an inappropriate conductor or conduit.
- Rounding, approximation, and the inherent limitations of simplified electrical models.
VoltDrop Pro is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

In no event shall the aggregate liability of VoltDrop Pro to you for all claims relating to the site or the software exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid to VoltDrop Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars (US $100).
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VoltDrop Pro and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of any VoltDrop Pro output in a real-world electrical design, bid, installation, or submittal.
